Wild Animals in … Jefferson?

So we’re not in Africa anymore, but there are still wild animals running around, and you have to be on alert because you never know when wildlife may emerge (these pictures were taken this morning), but there was not much perceived danger, as these are only harmless Oregon deer, unlike the ferocious beasts we encountered while traveling in South Africa and Botswana, so I just had to post another blog entry so that the theme could carry on just a little longer, even though we have returned to the modern world of the Willamette Valley, and the global melt down, and the never ending election nonsense, and where is Africa when you really need ‘em? and there is always a connection from one place to another, like a thread that runs through, and deer are probably a distant relative of the Red Hartbeest that tried to skewer me with their cork screw antlers, and I’ll have some stories to tell my grandchildren, of which another will be coming soon, from that same African continent, and … remember how everything is somehow connected?
