Oh Well Merry Christmas!
Lately, it's all about the snow in our area. For starters, we couldn't get up the hill to our house, and at one point got stuck in a snowy ditch after sliding off the road. Then the power went out at our house in Jefferson, like last Saturday, and we can't really live there without power, because that means no water, no heat, no nothing.
But our daughter Beka and her husband Jake have been very kind in letting us stay in their house for the last week, which is where we celebrated Christmas today. It's a little disruptive, but at least we have a roof over our heads.
So the whole northern part of Oregon was shut down for a few days with this snowstorm, which they say is the worst in a hundred years! However, the weather is warming up, and as soon as we have power back on at the house (don't know when that will be, a week and counting ...) we will get back normal and be able to enjoy the holiday season a little more.
The picture above shows us getting ready to hike down the hill, as we couldn't drive it for a few days. It was about 26 degrees at the time. We had six inches as shown right before we got another six! Fun?
