What's Christmas without a little snow?

Where we live in Oregon, we don't usually get a lot of snow. Sometimes, however, it does come down and with our climate, it often freezes and turns into a skating rink. This week is one of those times. Our son TK found himself in a ditch in Portland, and our house on the hill is particularly vulnerable to ice and snow disruption. But at the same time, snow is beautiful and always wonderful to gaze upon and experience.
