The World Has a Beat
So we had a booth at the World Beat festival in Salem over the weekend for the Andando Foundation and it was an interesting time and a very productive time and there were a lot of people there from all walks of life, and all nationalities, and the weather was beautiful and hot and sunny and we raised a bunch of money to help with the feeding program for Buedu, Sierra Leone and it was a lot of work, but worth it, therefore (I always wanted to use that word in a blog post) we feel like our decision to phase out the Andando store in favor of events like this was a good one, and did you know they have "dragon boat" races on the Willamette River during the World Beat festival and we talked to some people we know from Dox who were racing and they collided with another boat and capsized (another word that rarely appears in blogs, at least this one) and they were able to make it to shore before being consumed by the elements, and when all was said and done, it was a good weekend in June of 2009 and the beat goes on ...

How did the Djibi wraps sell? We just sold our first one here yesterday, I think Djibi was encouraged. Also, we are making napkins, naturally I sold them before I got pictures, classic Crystal, eh?
Pictures of the sales?
See you in 4 weeks!!!
KEVIN. That was a VERY LONG SENTENCE. :)
